Partners Inaugurate EU Peace Project In Bayelsa State [Video]

Partners for the European Union peace project have inaugurated the level peace Architecture with the responsibility of implementing the 18-month project in Bayelsa State.

This it says is to Show determination to end Criminality and Violence in the Niger Delta,

Launched in February this year, the EU-funded project tagged “ A Community-Centered Approach To Transforming Criminality and Violence in the Niger Delta” aims at improving the peace and development of the oil-rich region in 33 Local Government Areas in Bayelsa, Delta, and River States.

At the Dappa Priye hall in Yenagoa, the Search for Common Ground and its partners are back for the inauguration of the State-level peace architecture.

The newly formed Five-man committee is made up of key players in security and other sectors.

While 5 Local Government Areas have been fully engaged in the State, the project implementation partners promise all 8 LGAs would benefit in the coming …
