Pedestrian George Lewis killed in Laurel County wreck on KY Route 490 [Video]

LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly crash just north of London.

The sheriff’s office said before 11 p.m. Monday, a pedestrian walking on Kentucky Route 490 was hit by a car.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

The Laurel County coroner identified him as 57-year-old George Lewis.

The crash remains under investigation.
