A Birmingham man was found dead early Wednesday in an apparent hit-and-run.
The victim was discovered at 3:43 a.m. in the 10 block of Medical Park Drive East, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
It wasn’t immediately clear when the pedestrian had been struck, said Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates.
Authorities are withholding the victim’s identity pending notification of his family. Yates said he was a 41-year-old Black male.
Birmingham police are investigating.
