PEORIA COUNTY (25News Now) – A Pekin man has died after a one-vehicle crash in Rural Peoria County Saturday night.
Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins says it happened around 6 PM at the intersection of Airport Road and Tuscarora Road.
Watkins says it appears the car was heading southbound on Airport Road, when it lost control, left the road, and hit a tree.
A 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Watkins adds the man’s identity will be released at a later time.
The accident remains under investigation by the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.
