Police investigate fatal pedestrian accident in Buffalo [Video]

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police are investigating a fatal accident that happened on Monday morning. 

Officers were called to Broadway and Hirschbeck Street just after 6:30 a.m. for a report of a pedestrian accident. 

Investigators say a Jeep SUV was traveling east on Broadway when it hit a pedestrian who was crossing the street. The person died at the scene. 

Police are looking into whether speed was a factor or not. The identity of the victim is still unknown at this time.
