SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating two shootings that happened early Saturday morning.
The investigation for the first occurred at 3:15 a.m. in the Glendale Neighborhood near 1750 W. 1700 S.
According to a press release, a preliminary investigation revealed a fight led to multiple shots being fired. Following this, police say multiple people fled on foot and in cars.
Police secured the area and identified an apartment building with several witnesses inside. Here, officers found a 20-year-old man with an injury they believe was not related to the shooting.
At this time, no arrests have been made in connection to this case. The Salt Lake City Police Department’s Gang Unit is leading the investigation.
