Police looking for Norristown fatal hit-and-run driver [Video]

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian Sunday night in Norristown. Police say the car believed to have struck the victim has been located at Wood Street near Arch Street in Norristown. The driver remains at large.

Surveillance camera video from Norristown Tattoo Company (348 West Main Street) shows a pedestrian crossing West Main Street, near Astor Street, at 10:46 p.m. A car is seen striking the individual, sending the body several feet into the air. The body lands in the median, skidding over the surface of the road before coming to a stop about 130 feet away from the point of impact.

After the impact, the driver can be seen slowing down for a moment but, in the end, continuing down Main Street.
