The United States Geological Society reports that a 4.8 magnitude quake occurred approximately 4.87 miles north-northeast of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey around 10:25 a.m.

Shortly after the quake was felt, calls and emails began to flood our newsroom from residents reporting that they felt the quake.
