The National Weather Service issued a report at 3:43 p.m. on Wednesday for thunderstorms and gusty winds until 8 p.m. for Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.

“Isolated showers and thunderstorms will move through this evening across eastern Pennsylvania. Storms could produce gusts between 35-50 MPH. Cannot rule out some storms producing severe-level gusts up to 60 MPH. Seek sturdy shelter if you hear thunder,” says the weather service.
