Pride Month kicks off at Kansas Citys P&L with performance by Tinashe [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Pride Month is set to kick off at KC Live! in the Power & Light district with an exhilarating performance by Tinashe.

Kansas City’s Power & Light District says that on Saturday, June 1, KC Live! and the Kansas City Pride Community Alliance will kick off Pride Month with a live performance from Tinashe.

Organizers noted that part of the proceeds from the concert will benefit KCPCA to continue to provide educational opportunities, support, social activities and advocacy. The collaboration will bing an exciting performance for attendees and contribute to KCPCA’s impactful work.

KCP&L noted that the partnership also reflects its dedication to diverse programming and contribution to the local LGBTQIA+ community.
