Bigger in every way than diesel dual-cab utes atop the sales charts, Ram Trucks Australia hopes the 1500 will tempt customers away from more sensible machines such as the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger.

Marketing it as a machine which “eats utes for breakfast”, Ram reckons the 1500 will be bought by tradies, grey nomads and folks who find four-cylinder machines just don’t do it for them anymore.
