Richfield City Police identify UTV driver who died in car crash [Video]

RICHFIELD, Utah — Richfield City Police said a utility task vehicle driver died after being involved in a car crash on April 22. 

According to police, the crash happened around 4 p.m. at an intersection at 1100 South Main Street.

Police said the driver, 54-year-old Jack Becker, was headed North on Richfield Main Street when he turned left in front of a car at an intersection.

That’s when police said his UTV was struck by a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that was driving southbound through the intersection. 

Police said the crash caused the UTV to roll and Becker to be ejected from the UTV. Becker later died from his injuries after he was transported to the hospital.

According to police, Becker was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

According to police, there was a pregnant female involved in the crash. The female was a passenger in the 2013 Hyundai Elantra, she was taken the hospital as a precaution.
