The state Environment Department issued citations and violations with fines in regard to a Roswell worker’s death in 2023.The penalties are to the city of Roswell after a six-month worker death investigation by the state Occupational Health and Safety Bureau. The fines issued total $637,311.The death happened on Saturday morning, Oct. 21, when four on-call city utility workers went to repair a leaking water main.
