Firefighters in the city of Boston battled a fire involving what officials said were construction materials on the outside of a building near South Station. The Boston Fire Department said the fire was on the outside deck of the ninth floor of a building under construction at 700 Atlantic Ave. in Boston. Smoke and flames were seen coming from the building next to Boston South Station around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Authorities said there were no immediate reports of injuries.
