SAPD searching for driver who hit pedestrian, left him for dead [Video]

SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for the driver who fled from the scene after hitting and killing a man on the west side of town Tuesday night.

San Antonio Police officers responded to the 7400 block of Highway 90 westbound around 8:38 p.m. for reports of a hit and run accident. Officials say several people who witnessed the crash called it in.

When police arrived at the scene, they were told by multiple witnesses that the man had been struck by a driver in a dark-colored sedan that did not stop.

A driver in another vehicle even stopped to help the victim after he was hit. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

As for the driver, police believe they may have taken off in a dark-colored vehicle. At last check, that person had not been …
