Search underway for mother last seen in May along I-10 in Buckeye [Video]

BUCKEYE,AZ (AZFamily) — Buckeye police are searching for a mother after her car broke down along a busy freeway last month.

According to authorities, Buckeye police received a report on Saturday that 46-year-old Hope Tucker’s purple Dodge Charger broke down on Interstate 10 near Verrado Way in the early hours of May 22. She was with her adult son, who is autistic and has limited communication.

Police say the mother and son went to find shade when Tucker may have had a medical emergency. That same day, around 11 a.m., a trooper who was patrolling the area found Tucker’s abandoned vehicle, and it was towed.

Two days after Tucker went missing, Buckeye police reportedly came into contact with her son. At the time, authorities were called to a QuikTrip gas station on Watson Road for …
