CHICO, Calif. – A 200-pound Buddha statue was stolen off the front porch of a family still grieving the loss of their loved one, Neff Haskell, who died in a car accident back in January.
The widow and owner of the statue, Dee Haskell, told Action News Now that she bought the Buddha statue 14 years ago as a gift to her husband.
“It’s just irreplaceable; I don’t want another Buddha; I want that Buddha,” said Haskell.
The family said Neff shared a lot of similar traits with the Buddha.
