She told Kourtney Kardashian about the scary moments during her pregnancy. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who welcomed son Rocky with husband Travis Barker in November, opened up about what happened before and after emergency fetal surgery in September during the Season 5 premiere.

“We had a scanner planned for our house so all the kids could see the baby,” she recalled during the May 23 episode. “The doctor who comes to the house to do the scan is a high-risk doctor who examines everything in a very detailed and thorough manner. And something caught his attention when he wanted me to contact some specialists. After making the appointment, she found out she had to have surgery on her baby the next morning, which she described as “scary” and “stressful.”

Courtney didn’t reveal what type of anxiety was detected during the scan, but noted it came on quickly.

“The timing was great. It saved everything,” the 45-year-old said. “My doctor told me, ‘You didn’t do anything wrong. It has nothing to do with age. It’s just a very rare thing that happened. ”
Travis, 48, had already left on his Blink-182 tour in Europe, so Kourtney called her mother Kris Jenner to take him to the hospital until she could return to the United States. “The worst part was that her WiFi was broken on the plane,” Courtney explained. “I sent him updates and my mom sent him updates.
