CLEVELAND, Ohio —After the numerous injuries suffered last season, the Browns want to be prepared with insurance just in case.
One of the main areas that took an early hit last year was the running back room, with Nick Chubb going down for the season in Week 2 versus Pittsburgh.
The room kept stable with Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt leading the way in 2023, but you can never be too safe. Especially with uncertainty for Chubb’s return, Nyheim Hines having yet to return, and D’Onta Foreman recently recovering from injury.
If the Browns were to add to the running back room, they have a couple options in Dalvin Cook and Jerick McKinnon.
It was an interesting 2023 season for Cook. After four consecutive seasons with Pro Bowl selections and 1,000 rushing yards, Cook and Minnesota parted ways ahead of training camp.
