My name is Sharon Jones I am 60 years old and a three year ischemic stroke survivor ( and also a two year breast cancer survivor). Prior to the stroke I was at the peak of my career as an Accounts Payable Manager and I was preparing a 10 year retirement plan. I am a divorce woman and the mother of four wonderful adults, three amazing sons and a beautiful daughter.
There were no major signs prior to the night of the stroke. I woke up in the middle of the night, somewhere around 3am, and realized I couldn’t get out of my bed.
