LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A student was hit by a car Wednesday while trying to cross the road near Jeffersonville High School.
The driver involved in the accident was also a student.
Police said the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday around the same time school got out. Officers said a student was trying to cross Allison Lane and thought all cars had stopped.
But she was hit by a car in the far lane, which was driven by another student.
She suffered minor injuries. Police said there’s no suspicion of criminal wrongdoing.
Officers said this is a good reminder to talk to your children about traffic safety.
