On July 25, 2000, an Air France Concorde, designated as Flight 4590, took off from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport bound for New York. Unfortunately, during takeoff, the supersonic aircraft experienced the bursting of one of its tires, causing a hole in the fuel tank due to the rubber exiting at high speed. Engines 1 and 2 of the Concorde caught fire, and tragically, the plane crashed into a hotel on the outskirts of the airport just 45 seconds after takeoff.
