THE sister of a young Carlow woman who suffered a freak accident after falling from a luxury yacht in Dubai reveals how her friends thought “she was dead”.

Tasha Keane, who is in her 20s, was at a birthday party on board the luxury two-storey yacht when she lost her balance and suffered a fall.

The incident happened on Saturday night and saw Tasha being rushed to hospital on a stretcher.

After losing her balance, Tasha fell backwards and head first into the water, leaving her concussed.

Thankfully, a lifeguard was nearby and jumped in after her to save her from drowning.

According to Tasha’s sister Roisin, her friends were certain she had died.

Roisin told 98FM: “It was like a murder scene and there was blood everywhere.

“An ambulance was rung and she was brought out on a stretcher and rushed to hospital.”
