Three injured after crash in Wilkinson County [Video]

According to Wilkinson County Coroner Billy Matthews, two cars crashed at the intersection of Highway 112 and Highway 441 around 9 a.m. 

No one died in the wreck but Matthews was on the scene assisting first responders.

A 77-year-old from Augusta was traveling west on John Spears Road when he failed to yield and pulled into the path of a Chevrolet Impala, Georgia State Patrol says.

The driver of the Chevrolet Impala, a 64-year-old and a 68-year-old passenger were traveling south on US Highway 441 when they were hit.

All three were transported to Atrium Health – Navicent with minor injuries. There are currently no charges filed.

Two weeks ago, two semi-trucks crashed at the very same spot and 61-year-old Randal Wilson from Milledgeville died in the crash.
