Topincn pool drain covers recalled due to entrapment hazard [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – There’s a new recall involving pools. It’s the Topincn one-and-a-half and three-inch pool drain cover.

If you have one, you’re urged to stop using it immediately.

These were sold on Amazon between September of 2022 through March of this year, for between $9 and $32.

So far there haven’t been any injuries reported, but these pool drains don’t comply with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act. The law promotes the safe use of pools and hot tubs by imposing mandatory federal requirements for suction to avoid someone getting trapped or caught in a drain.

The manufacturer is contacting customers directly, but you can also take a picture of your drain and e-mail it to the manufacturer for a refund: sanure710@126.com
