Total Health and Rehabilitation Center destroyed in fire | Mid-Missouri News [Video]

No injuries were reported after a fire Monday night at the Total Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fulton. 

The Fulton Fire Department responded to the commercial structure fire at 710 South Business 54 around 9:02 p.m. Monday, according to a news release from the department. 

Fulton Assistant Fire Chief Russell Sing said the building is a total loss. He said there was heavy fire in the attic of the structure. 

“The biggest battle we had would be probably not [having] early notification, being the time of night and it not being occupied,” Sing said. “So, we were kind of behind the eight-ball at that point.”

Fire crews began to respond to the fire inside the building, but had to pull back due to the instability of the building’s roof. Crews then continued to fight the fire from outside the building. It took them close to three hours to bring the …
