Troopers searching for car in fatal Beaufort Co. hit-and-run [Video]

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is searching for a suspect vehicle after a pedestrian was hit and killed in Beaufort County Monday night.

Master Trooper Brandon Bolt said the pedestrian was hit by two different vehicles around 10 p.m. Monday on Okatie Highway.

A 2015 Toyota was going west on the highway when they hit the pedestrian trying to cross the highway, Bolt said.

The pedestrian was hit by a second vehicle, now believed to be a 2007 to 2009 model Toyota Camry that left the scene.
