WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is looking for information in a hit-and-run accident that happened last month in Williamsburg County.
Troopers say the crash happened May 12 just before 10:50 p.m. on North Morgan Avenue near County Line Road.
A motorcyclist was traveling south on North Morgan Avenue when an unknown vehicle turned left onto the roadway from County Line Road. The motorcyclist struck the driver’s side of the car and the car fled the scene.
The motorcyclist was badly injured.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Chevrolet Traverse or a GMC Acadia with a model year somewhere between 2007 and 2017. While the color of the vehicle is still not known, troopers do believe the car may have damage on the driver’s side.
