Trump and DeSantis look to mend fences [Video]

“The only reason DeSanctus won in Florida is because I Endorsed him, and Campaigned for him,” Donald Trump declared last year, as the two faced off in the presidential primary.

Now it’s Trump whose campaign is struggling, particularly in terms of cash flow, and he’s reportedly seeking any port in a storm — even the man he accused of betraying him and failing to give adequate obeisance for his endorsement.

While Trump was on the campaign trail slamming DeSantis for running, for being less than likable, and for (allegedly) illegally moving funds to his campaign, there was one aspect of the Florida Governor’s presidential run he didn’t mention: Desantis’ network of wealthy donors.

He seems to have more interest in them now, though, and Steve Witkoff (the same guy who tried to organize a Miami Grand Prix fundraiser for Trump that was decisively shut down) reportedly orchestrated a meeting. The Washington Post reported:
