Two men displaced, one injured, in Kenosha house fire [Video]

Fire ravaged a home in the city’s Stocker neighborhood, displacing two residents, including a man who was injured Thursday night, according to authorities.

Just before 9 p.m., Kenosha firefighters answered the call of flames coming from the home at 6904 57th Avenue, according to Battalion Chief Ryan McNeely of the Kenosha Fire Department.

“On arrival, we had heavy fire from the (front) of the structure and we had two people out of the structure,” he said. “Our primary and secondary searches showed that no one else was in the structure.”

One man was transported to a local hospital, but the extent of his injuries and whether they were fire-related were not immediately known. His condition also was not known late Thursday, according to McNeely.

Men helped to safety

According to Kenosha police, the two men are relatives, ages, 44, and 66, and live at the home.
