U-Haul offering 30 days of free storage to those with tornado damage [Video]

KALAMAZOO, MI –– Seven U-Haul locations across southern Michigan are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box storage in response to the storms and tornadoes that swept through on May 7.

The damage from the severe weather stretched from Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, Branch and Cass counties, among other areas.

Businesses, buildings and homes were lost –– in addition to power outages, innumerable fallen trees and impacts to roads and street lights.

U-Haul is an official American Red Cross Disaster Responder and wants to be at the forefront of relief for these communities, according to a press release from the moving and storage company.
