Uplift Wisconsin offers free, confidential line of support [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Wisconsin Department of Health Services wants you to know there’s a way to find support if you’re not doing OK and need someone to talk to.

We know there’s a need for support lines in Wisconsin. We’ve talked about the 988 suicide and crisis line. The latest figures show calls increased another 16% in June compared to June 2023.

The DHS partnered with Mental Health America of Wisconsin to create a support line called Uplift Wisconsin.

The phone number is (534) 202-5438.

It’s another free service you can use to find someone who will listen to you and offer support.

You don’t need to be in crisis to call this line.

DHS says to call if you need someone to talk to for support when things are difficult or when you just need a peer to connect with.
