Urgent warning for Irish parents as children’s game recalled over serious injury fears [Video]

AN urgent warning has been issued to Irish parents after a children’s game was recalled due to “serious” injury fears.

The magnetic game was being sold on the hugely popular online retailer Shein.

Safety bosses issued the product a safety notice after it was deemed an injury risk to children.

There are approximately 24 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission issued a product recall for the affected children’s toy.

The toy magnets could be swallowed by a child which could lead to some serious health complications.

On the CCPC website it states: “The risk presented by the product is injuries.

“If the high-powered magnets are swallowed by a child, the magnets can connect to one another in the abdomen which may lead to serious injuries including intestinal holes and blockages.”
