Vermont volunteer coalition announces donation for families in recovery after July floods [Video]

For many Vermonters across the state, work to rebuild and recover from last summer’s devastating floods has been ongoing for nearly a year. On Tuesday, a local coalition of volunteer groups called The Vermont Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster worked to provide some extra relief to those most impacted by the historic floodwaters.Daniel Molind has been on the front lines of relief, serving as the chair of Hope Coalition. He said the latest donation is expected to help families who are hoping to get back to normal as the one-year anniversary of the flooding approaches.”You know, everybody sort of switched gears, it’s summertime and everything is OK, and the ground isn’t muddy anymore.
