WALLINGFORD, CT (WFSB) – Wallingford came together on Thursday evening for a block party to bring the community together and support local businesses.
The event, which marked the beginning of summer for Wallingford residents, took place on North Main Street between Center and Church Street.
Local businesses showcased offerings, accompanied by fun activities for the children and a variety of local food and live music.
The Wallingford Center incorporated The Host Group to take extra safety measures and beat the heat.
Liz Davis, Executive Director of the Wallingford Center Inc., highlighted the efforts to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. “We’ve added extra seating to accommodate those who want to listen to music. Guests can also grab takeout menus from nearby restaurants and return to enjoy their meals at our provided tables. We’re adapting in every way possible.”
