Dramatic dash cam footage captured the moment a carjacker dumped a toddler girl in her car seat on the side of a busy Florida road and fled through traffic.
Detectives are searching for an unidentified male suspect who hopped into the driver’s seat of the victim’s car while she stepped out to exchange information with another driver she had just gotten into a car accident with Wednesday morning on an Oakland Park, Florida, road, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was briefly dragged as she tried to hold onto the driver-side door in an attempt to thwart the suspect as he drove off with her 3-year-old daughter still inside the vehicle.
