WATCH: Momma bear rescues cub after fall from trestle in Terryville [Video]

TERRYVILLE, CT (WFSB) – A mother bear sprang into action to rescue her cub after a fall from a train trestle in Terryville.

It happened along Route 72, South Riverside Avenue.

Tyler Nolan shared video of the ordeal with Channel 3.

In it, the mother can be seen surging down a bank after the cub fell from the trestle into the water below.

She jumped into the water and pulled the cub to safety.

Both appeared to be ok.

Afterward, they disappeared into the woods.
