Episode #22 features Dr. Aaron Welk, DC, DACBR

Dr. Welk is a 2009 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. He went on to complete an additional 4.5 years of Residency and Fellowship training in the Logan University Department of Radiology, earning board certification in Chiropractic Radiology in 2013. He also has specialty training in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound having performed a 1 year fellowship in this emerging soft tissue evaluation modality. Diagnostic ultrasound is a cost-effective, non-invasive assessment tool for muscle, tendon, ligament and nerve injuries. Dr. Welk also enjoys working with athletes and has had the opportunity to work with patients ranging from youth athletes, to weekend warriors, to All-Star professional athletes.

Dr. Welk works as adjunct faculty in the Logan University Department of Radiology assisting with radiology resident training and teaches weekend continuing education seminars for chiropractors. He has a private radiology consulting practice, Gateway Radiology Consultants. He interprets MRI, X-ray, CT scans for practicing clinicians as well as provides management advice when indicated. On a personal note, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, and golfing.
