This past weekend, Gordon Ramsey took to social media to remind others of the importance of wearing a helmet while biking.
This comes after the celebrity chef revealed he crashed his bicycle last week while cycling in Connecticut.
“I had a really bad accident, and it really shook me. Honestly, I’m lucky to be here,” the “MasterChef” star, 57, said in a graphic video he shared to Instagram on June 15.
“Now, from those incredible trauma surgeons, doctors, nurses and the hospital that looked after me this week, they were amazing. But honestly, you’ve got to wear a helmet,” he said.
“I don’t care how short the journey is, I don’t care [about] the fact that these helmets cost money, but they’re crucial,” he continued. “Even with the kids, a short journey, they’ve got to wear a helmet.”
