Emergency officials learned on their way to the crash that a person was believed to be trapped inside the vehicle that had since caught fire.
STANDISH, Maine — A man from Westbrook suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash and subsequent vehicle fire that happened late Sunday night in the town of Standish.
Dispatchers with the Cumberland County Regional Communications Center received a call around 11:50 p.m. Sunday about a single-vehicle crash in which the vehicle rolled over and caught fire.
Upon arrival, crews were able to get the man identified as 32-year-old Andrew Leeman out of the vehicle after they stabilized it. Leeman was brought to Maine Medical Center in Portland with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to officials.
