What The Fries temporarily closing due to a family tragedy [Video]

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) – A popular Charlotte restaurant is temporarily closing due to a tragedy.

The owner of What The Fries, Jamie Barnes, recently lost his daughter, who was nearing her second birthday. She had bravely battled a health condition.

To help support the family, others in the community are working to help raise money.

Starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday, a tomato sandwich drive-thru will be held at Small City Farm. Minimum donations are $20, with all proceeds going to the Barnes family.
