Woman dies following industrial accident at plant in Gaffney [Video]

GAFFNEY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Cherokee County Coroner’s Office said officials are investigating following an industrial accident that killed one person Wednesday.

Officials said the incident happened at the Carolina Cotton Works plant along Commerce Drive at around 11:30 a.m.

According to officials, the victim reportedly became trapped at the machine she was working at. Officials stated that her co-workers found her, and she was transported to the hospital for treatment. However, she later passed away from her injuries at 12:57 p.m.

The Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 30-year-old Brianna Coyle.
