Woman mistakenly declared dead at Nebraska nursing home has now died [Video]

A woman who was mistakenly declared dead Monday at a Nebraska nursing home died later that day, according to authorities. Lancaster County Sheriff Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said 74-year-old Constance Glantz died at a Lincoln hospital at 4 p.m. Monday. The Lancaster County Attorney General has ordered an autopsy to be performed. Houchin said the sheriff’s office will give an update when the final autopsy report is completed, which can take 12 weeks. “I can’t imagine what her family has went through and we are really, really sorry for them to have to do that,” Houchin said.He also said that the nursing home and funeral home have both been cooperating.
