Woman who lost two family members to gun violence working to educate community while waiting for answers [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Nearly four months later, no arrests have been made in the murders of Christopher Norris and Angeliyah Webster, who was pregnant with the couple’s child. The couple were found dead in a car in the Wylam community.

Christopher’s cousin, Sherita Clark, says while she and other family members wait for those answers, she realizes the culture surrounding gun violence needs to change and is working to educate the Birmingham community on the impact pulling a trigger can have.

“To hear her crying over the phone is hard for me to hear of course. I know that Chris’ mom, they both just want to find out who did this to their children,” Clark said.

For Clark, the story is painfully familiar.

“Every time I think about what happened to Chris and Angeliyah, I immediately go back to my brother that was murdered. He was murdered in a car with someone else too,” said Clark. “What …
