Woodmore middle schoolers rally around their principal after learning contract may not be renewed [Video]

WOODVILLE, Ohio (WTVG) – A community is rallying behind a beloved educator. Some students at Woodmore Middle School participated in a walkout Friday afternoon to show their support for their principal, Kevin Ball, whose contract may not be renewed.

Both students and parents said Ball is an asset to the school district and they want answers.

“The school will not be the same. It will not be the same if he is not here,” said Jamie Lowe, a Woodmore parent.

According to these parents, Ball’s contract is up for renewal and word on the street is that it will not be renewed.

“I was shocked along with all of the rest of the community. Mr. Ball has always been such a stand-out principal, and faculty member, the kids just love him. I have not had a single bad interaction, or heard anybody that has had a single bad interaction with …
