Worker dies in construction accident at N.J. metal-polishing business, police say [Video]

A worker at a Middlesex County metal-polishing company died Tuesday morning in an accident involving a forklift, police said.

Officers were called to Diamond Brite Metals on Cedar Avenue in Middlesex at 7:17 a.m. and found the worker, Jimmy Fernando Parrales Mora, 46, of North Plainfield, unresponsive at the site, according to a statement from the Middlesex Borough Police Department.

Mora was pronounced dead at the scene. A metal beam had fallen and struck him while he was working, the department said.
