INDIANAPOLIS Colts rookie Daniel Scott has suffered a devastating injury in training camp.
Scott, who missed the entire 2023 NFL season with a torn ACL, tore his Achilles at OTAs.
Scott was a fifth-round pick in the 2023 draft out of California.
He didn’t get to play a game last year though, as he was held out with a torn ACL.
This upcoming season was a chance for Scott to cement himself on the Colts roster, and he was impressing coaches at OTAs.
Head coach Shane Steichen and other coaches were discussing Scott as a potential starting safety for the team this year.
“I think he’s going to have a (expleitve) of a future,” Steichen said during OTAs.
