CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting late Friday night at an east Charlotte convenience store.
According to MEDIC, the shooting happened on Milton Road around 11:55 p.m.
Police could be seen gathering evidence around the Fast Mart Number 3.

Investigators also had their attention set on a sedan in the parking lot.
A WBTV crew saw a sizeable hole in the back window of the car.
