Celtics injury report: Starter downgraded for Game 3 vs. Pacers [Video]

INDIANAPOLIS — The Celtics now have three total players listed on the injury report ahead of Game 3 of the East Finals against the Pacers. Jrue Holiday is the latest addition as he was a surprise addition as he’s now questionable with a non-COVID illness.

The other two on the injury report are no surprises in Luke Kornet (doubtful, left wrist sprain) and Kristaps Porzingis (out, right soleus strain). Both players were at shootaround Saturday ahead of the 8:30 p.m. tipoff at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, though they weren’t getting up shots during the open part to the media.

Holiday has been a stellar force for the Celtics after a slow offensive start to the playoffs. He was masterful in Game 1, putting up 28 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Then he followed up that performance by putting up 15 points and 10 assists on 6-for-7 shooting in Game 2. So the C’s …
