CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – One person was hurt after a northeast Charlotte home burst into flames early Friday morning.
The Charlotte Fire Department reported the blaze on Dawn Circle, right off Orr Road and North Tryon Street, around 2:30 a.m.
A photo of the home showed it engulfed in flames.
Firefighters said they battled the blaze for about 15 minutes before bringing it under control.
The flames caused an estimated $45,000 in damage. No firefighters were hurt in the fire.
Officials said the fire started in the rear of the house and its cause is currently undetermined.
